The short version
- This site collects no personal data on its own.
- The contact form sends your message directly to my inbox via Web3Forms. I do not store it anywhere else.
- No tracking, no analytics, no advertising cookies. Ever.
carlospariona.dev is a static portfolio site. There is no database, no user accounts, and no server-side processing of personal information. The sections below describe the narrow cases where data does move.
What data is collected and why
When you submit the contact form, you provide your name, email address, and a message. That data is transmitted directly to Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which delivers it to my inbox. I use it solely to respond to your inquiry. I do not add you to any mailing list, share your information with third parties, or retain it beyond the conversation.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. The only browser storage used is localStorage, where your dark/light mode preference is saved under the key "vueuse-color-scheme". This value never leaves your device and is not accessible to any server or third party.
Third-party services
Two external services are used: Web3Forms (web3forms.com) processes contact form submissions, and Calendly (calendly.com) handles discovery call scheduling. When you interact with either service, their own privacy policies apply. I chose both because they are minimal, well-documented, and do not engage in behavioral advertising.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data I hold about you, to request its deletion, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because this site stores nothing server-side, the only data that could exist is a message you sent via the contact form. To request deletion, email hello@carlospariona.dev and I will confirm removal within 5 business days.
Questions
If anything here is unclear or you have a privacy concern, email hello@carlospariona.dev. I respond to all inquiries within 1 business day.
